ECHS Cancer Care
For eligible Armed Forces ex-servicemen and dependants.
ECHS was created to provide comprehensive healthcare to eligible Armed Forces pensioners and their dependants, including care through empanelled civil hospitals.
At Cancer Therapy India, we provide oncology care for ECHS beneficiaries through Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road. We assess the cancer, explain the treatment options and coordinate the required oncology care with the wider Apollo team.

For eligible Karnataka Police personnel and family members.
Arogya Bhagya Yojane was created to provide healthcare support to Karnataka Police personnel and their families through recognised healthcare providers.
Cancer Therapy India provides cancer care for beneficiaries through Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road. Our focus is on the medical problem first — understanding the diagnosis, deciding the right treatment and coordinating the specialists required.

Once the treatment pathway is clear, the relevant Apollo scheme team helps process the applicable documentation, authorisation and hospital billing under ECHS or Arogya Bhagya.

What cashless care means
For approved, scheme-covered treatment, the patient does not pay the covered hospital bill directly. The hospital processes the applicable treatment authorisation and billing through ECHS or Arogya Bhagya according to the scheme rules. If a medicine, procedure or service falls outside the applicable scheme coverage, this should be clarified with the patient before treatment wherever possible.

Is ECHS cancer treatment cashless?
ECHS provides cashless services at empanelled hospitals for referred and authorised treatment according to ECHS rules. For approved scheme-covered treatment, the covered hospital bill is processed through ECHS rather than being paid directly by the beneficiary.
Is Arogya Bhagya treatment cashless?
Arogya Bhagya was created for Karnataka Police personnel and eligible family members with cashless healthcare as a core objective. The hospital processes eligible approved treatment through the applicable scheme pathway.
Who handles the scheme paperwork?
The CTI team focuses on your oncology care. Once the treatment pathway is clear, the relevant Apollo scheme team helps coordinate hospital-side documentation, authorisation and billing under the applicable scheme.
Are all cancer medicines and procedures automatically covered?
No. Coverage depends on the applicable scheme rules, indication, approved rates or packages and authorisation. The clinical and hospital scheme teams can clarify this as the treatment plan is finalised.
Can I use this CTI scheme pathway at other Apollo locations?
No. The CTI ECHS and Arogya Bhagya cancer-care pathway described on this page is currently provided through Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road only.
